Kintsugi is the Japanese tradition of mending broken pottery with precious metals. This debut poetry collection takes you on a journey from dejection, to recuperation, and self acceptance. At the end, the protagonist learns what the Japanese have known for centuries: we can only truly heal when we accept our imperfections.
